Description

Does your child love building with LEGO? Challenge them to take their building skills to the next level by creating working robots!
Students will use LEGO SPIKE Essential kits to design and build robotic creations, then learn basic coding through the SPIKE App on tablets to bring their robots to life. Over the 10-week program, they'll master motors, light matrices, and color sensors while working in pairs to develop essential STEM skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Program Details:

10 weekly sessions
Total cost: $200 (payment due in full at registration)
Students work in pairs with hands-on LEGO robotics kits
Learn coding fundamentals in a fun, interactive environment

Dealey Montessori Academy Robotics Club

Does your child love building with LEGO? Take their creativity to the next level by transforming LEGO builds into working robots!

In this hands-on robotics program, students will use LEGO SPIKE Essential kits to design, build, and code their own robotic creations. Using the SPIKE App on tablets, they'll learn fundamental coding concepts to bring their robots to life, making them move, light up, and respond to their environment.

What Students Will Learn:

  • Basic coding and programming logic

  • Engineering and design thinking
  • Problem-solving through trial and error
  • Collaboration and communication while working in pairs

This program builds confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills while having fun with robotics!
