Description

This coding bootcamp is "by invite only" for kids who have shown their capabilities in Scratch coding during our camps or other enrichment programs. This special new offering will introduce a different coding language, Python, while utilizing Edublocks to make it accessible for middle-elementary grade kids.  This is the next step to being able to actually write your own code like real software engineers and game developers. 

 

This will be taught by our very own Mr. Nate, who has 10 years of experience working as a database developer, systems engineer, and mobile app developer.  His passion is in game development, which he's done for over 15 years!  Mr. Nate has been a great addition to our after-school enrichment team, and he's commented that if there was a place like Stemtree when he was in elementary/middle school, it would have really helped him to systematically learn these coding skills so he wouldn't have had to teach himself!
